This site is maintained by the cadets of 859 Squadron and is aimed at improving awareness of the squadron's activities.
The Air Training Corps is a National Youth Organisation with the following aims:
• To promote and encourage among young people a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force • To provide training which will be useful in both service and civilian life • To foster the spirit of adventure and develop the qualities of leadership and good citizenship
You can apply to join the Air Training Corps as a cadet, if you are male or female, aged between 13 and 18. This site contains details of the wide range of activities that are available to cadets.
